AdWords Guru Perry Marshall Distinguishes Between Wannabes and Entrepreneurs

I just received an insightful e-mail from Perry Marshall, one of my most successful and truly genuine WYSIWYG colleagues, and I wanted to share it with ProsperNOW readers. Here goes...


Twelve differences between those who dream and those who act:

1] Wannabes obsess about ideas. Entrepreneurs obsess about implementation.

2] Wannabes want more web traffic. Entrepreneurs focus on sales conversion.

3] Wannabes focus on positive thinking. Entrepreneurs plan for multiple contingencies.

4] Wannabes want to get on TV and get "famous." Entrepreneurs build their list.

5] Wannabes seek a perfect plan. Entrepreneurs execute and adjust the plan later.

6] Wannabes wait for their lucky break. Entrepreneurs engineer four, five, six plans and execute them in tandem, wagering that at least one plan will get traction.

7] Wannabes fear looking stupid in front of their friends. Entrepreneurs willingly risk making fools of themselves, knowing that long-term success is a good trade for short-term loss of dignity.

8] Wannabes shield their precious ideas from harsh reality, postponing the verdict of success or failure until "someday." Entrepreneurs expose their ideas to cold reality as soon as reasonably possible.

9] Wannabes put off practicing basketball until they've got Air Jordans. Entrepreneurs practice barefoot behind the garage.

10] Wannabes believe what they're told, believe their own assumptions. Entrepreneurs do original research and determine what paths have been already trod.

11] Wannabes believe they can do anything. Entrepreneurs do what they're gifted for and delegate the rest.

12] Wannabes think about the world in terms of COULD and SHOULD. Entrepreneurs think in terms of IS and CAN BE.

Jim Cramer Picks "Green Day" Stocks that Benefit the Environment -- and Your Portfolio

Jim Cramer, of "Mad Money" TV and best-selling book fame, has gone green, folks. Per usual, he's sharing the wealth of his keen insights with, well, anyone who actually invests the time and energy to pay attention to the teachings of the venerable "Professor Cramer."

From Monday, April 16, through Friday, April 20, Cramer implemented a weeklong "Green Day" stock theme. Why? To pay homage to April 2, the day of a Supreme Court ruling in Massachusetts vs. the Environmental Protection Agency. The ruling made it profitable for market players to invest in environmentally friendly companies, he said.

Here's the recap:

Monday -- April 16, 2007

On the first day of his "Green Day" series, Cramer focused on his two favorite plays in the power sector: Foster Wheeler [FWLT] and Shaw Group [SGR]. These two companies, he noted, are "making themselves cleaner and the atmosphere cleaner."

Now that the Supreme Court has decided to make pollution "public enemy No.1," Foster Wheeler "is attractive for its low multiple," Cramer said. "This one is going to take a huge run." He believes that the $68 stock will go to $105.

Foster Wheeler is "a leader in fluidized bed boilers," Cramer said. Power plants use boilers to convert coal, gas or wood into energy, and the best part about Foster Wheeler's boilers is that they're "flexible" and allow power plants to cut sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions, he said.

"This company is so in the sweet spot, it's scary," Cramer said, adding that regardless of its environmentally friendly nature, he considers it a "great buy" right now.

Moreover, Shaw Group has nuclear power, which is the "best way to go -- from a global warming perspective," he continued. It recently won a couple of contracts, expects to get more contracts in the next few months and "has a huge inside edge on nuclear projects in the U.S. and abroad," according to Cramer.

In the next few years, these two stocks should make people some mad money, said Cramer, who would "buy them both."

Tuesday -- April 17, 2007
On Tuesday, Cramer named his top two solar picks: First Solar [FSLR] and MEMC Electronic Materials [WFR].

First Solar, a name Cramer has been recommending since March 7, is "the most economically efficient solar company," he said. Cramer said he's "still behind it 100%" and is looking for a pullback to sink his teeth into First Solar.

MEMC Electronic has "a stranglehold on silicon wafers, the key components to most solar panels," Cramer said. The stock, he continued, is up 247% since he recommended it last Halloween.

Because both stocks are up, Cramer advised investors to be patient. The stocks "are going to catch a downdraft," he warned. "Buy them down, not up here."

Wednesday -- April 18, 2007

Cramer's Wednesday "Green Day" pick was auto-supplier BorgWarner [BWA], because the company is "all about controlling emissions and enhancing fuel economy -- exactly what we are after in a post-Green Day world."

BorgWarner's backlog of orders is growing because of demand for products such as its fuel-efficient turbochargers, said Cramer.

Even though the company can help save the planet, some investors still might be worried about investing in an auto-parts company, he added.

But Cramer believes that BorgWarner won't be hurt by the struggling U.S. auto industry, because it does most of its business with foreign automakers that are in better financial shape.

Thursday -- April 19, 2007
On Thursday, Cramer added Tetra Tech [TTEK] to his green picks. Tetra, he said, has been expanding into alternative energy.

But at its core, Tetra is a water company, "geared towards the scarcity of clean water," Cramer noted. "It is one of the ways we can play the extremely high price of water."

The fact that 85% of the company's revenue comes from water management, and that Tetra just purchased Delaney Group, "a little wind company," puts it in the "sweet spot" for Green Day, Cramer said.

Friday -- April 20, 2007
Capping off a week in which he offered at least one environmental-stock idea each day, Jim Cramer told viewers of his "Mad Money" show Friday that he had saved his two best picks for last.

To round his Green Day portfolio, Cramer offered two names -- the first of which is OM Group [OMG].

"The word here is cobalt," he said.

OMG controls 13,000 tons of cobalt -- a quarter of the world's cobalt capacity, said Cramer. This, he explained, is important because cobalt is used in the batteries found in hybrid cars. Cobalt prices should remain stable or go higher, especially since no new capacity is expected to come until 2009, he said.

But OMG is more than just cobalt, Cramer said. What really attracted him to OMG was that, in addition to being a Green Day play, it's a metals play.

OMG has copper exposure -- a commodity that Cramer believes is going higher. Plus, the company's balance sheet is getting better, he said.

Moving on, Cramer named Fuel Tech [FTEK] as his "ultimate" speculative play on Green Day.

Fuel Tech is a play on power companies "forced or incentivized to pollute less," he said. Earlier in the week, Cramer said, he told viewers that Foster Wheeler [FWLT] and Shaw Group [SGR] were his picks for cleaner power. And they still are, for the more conservative of investors.

But for people who don't mind more risk, Fuel Tech is the stock for them, Cramer said. It has the technology that enables power companies to burn clean coal fuel, he said. It reduces nitrogen oxide emissions and has a fuel chemistry business aimed at saving power. The company "has been getting contract after contract ever since Green Day," Cramer said.

Moreover, because coal provides more than 49% of our electricity, he said, "it's pretty important." We can't solve our problem with ethanol, he said, because it's too inefficient. Therefore, in addition to Green Day, which should force coal-burning utilities to become cleaner, Fuel Tech is also a play on efficiency, Cramer said.

During last evening's WCCO-TV 10 p.m. news, there was a delightful story about a young woman who strolled along Minneapolis' Chain of Lakes [left], holding a sign that read, "FREE HUGS." Guess what? Step #1: Find a hungry niche market — BEFORE you decide what to sell
Most marketers make the mistake of looking for a "hot product" to sell when they're first starting out online — and they end up choosing a product before they determine whether there's a market for it. And this is the reason the majority of Internet startups fail!

The fact is, most people do NOT go online to buy. They go online looking for information or to solve a problem.

What you need to do is find an untapped niche market: a group of people who are going online to solve a common problem, but are not having any luck finding a solution.

By doing some simple research, you can discover EXACTLY what these people are looking for — and then figure out a way to give it to them. That way, you KNOW you'll have a market that's eager to buy your product — before you even know what it is!

Once you've found a hungry niche market and come up with a product that will satisfy their wants, it's time to write your salescopy...

Step #2: Write compelling salescopy that draws in your visitors
Without a doubt, the most important part of your website is your salescopy. It's the only contact most of your visitors are going to have with your business — so you have to make sure it does the job of a top-performing salesperson.

A lot of people don't feel confident about writing. But don't worry! Writing salescopy is a "science," not an "art" — there's a specific formula to follow that will lead your visitors smoothly through the sales process.

You need to focus on how your product or service will solve people's problems or make their lives better. Think like a customer: "What's in it for ME?"

A few key things to remember when you're writing your salescopy:

* Include a headline and subheadlines that are packed with benefits

* Build credibility with testimonials

* Offer a strong guarantee

* Pile on the bonuses

* Don't forget to ask for the order! Never assume that your visitors will understand what you want them to do on your site — you have to TELL them, and then make it easy for them to follow through with their purchase.

And remember: You want your copy to emphasize the BENEFITS of your product, not its features. What's the difference? Features TELL, benefits SELL.

Say, for example, you're selling low-energy washing machines.

Feature: They use less electricity than conventional machines.

Benefit: You save money with every load!

Do you see the difference? You want your visitors to have a clear idea of how your product is going to help improve their lives — because that is what's going to convince them to make a purchase!

Step #3: Design a winning site that converts visitors into buyers
Yes, it's true: You should only start building your website once you know what you're going to sell and have written your salescopy. That way, your site design will facilitate the sales process, rather than get in its way.

The most important thing to remember when designing your sales website is KEEP IT SIMPLE! You only have 10 seconds when someone arrives at your website to grab their attention — otherwise, they're gone, never to be seen again.

Some important tips to keep in mind:

* Choose a plain, sans-serif font [like Arial or Verdana]

* Use black text on a white background

* Make sure your navigation is clear and simple, and include a sitemap

* Avoid using cheesy or distracting flash or audio [using video and audio is OK so long as it supports, rather than distracts from, your message]

* Make sure you include an opt-in form to collect visitors' names and email addresses — offer something useful, like a free subscription to a monthly newsletter or a free report that's loaded with useful information

Whether you decide to teach yourself a bit of HTML and design your site yourself, or hire a web designer to do it for you, your goal is not to confuse your visitors, but rather to draw them in and lead them step by step through your sales process.

Make it EASY for them to purchase, and they will!

Step #4: Use the 'Net's top search engines to drive tons of targeted traffic to your site
Now that you've got your site built, it's time to start selling. But how do you get traffic to a brand-new site? The answer: search engines!

Over 90% of Internet users start with free search engines when they're looking for information online, so you want to make sure your site ranks as high as possible in their listings.

There are two ways to use search engines to drive traffic to your site: Using pay-per-click [PPC] programs like Google AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing, and getting ranked in the "organic" search engines. You're going to want to start with PPC, as it's the best way to start driving IMMEDIATE traffic to your site.

Once you have some paid traffic coming to your site, and you've figured out which keywords are performing best, you'll want to optimize your web pages for those keywords so that your site starts showing up in the organic search engine results as well.

Step #5: Tap into secret sources of cheap [and even free!] traffic
As an online marketer, one of your most important assets is your reputation. People need to know who you are, and why they should trust you!

So how do you "spread the good word" about you and your business to the far corners of the Web?

Easy! You can:

* Give away free, expert content! Write a series of short, informative articles packed with useful information and tips, and submit them to online article directories. Include a brief bio and a link back to your website at the end of each one.

* Issue press releases about your business. This is a great way to announce a new product, or report on exciting developments in your industry — and it'll drive traffic back to your site.

* Become an active expert in industry forums. Find out where your target market hangs out, and share your knowledge with them by posting knowledgeable replies to their questions... and remember to include a link back to your site in your signature!

Sending all this great information out — with your name and website URL linked to it — will also help you get a better ranking in the search engine listings, since every site that posts your content will link back to yours. Search engines LOVE inbound links from relevant sites, and they will reward you accordingly.

Step #6: Use the power of e-mail marketing to keep in touch with your visitors... and turn them into buyers!
I hear it all the time: e-mail marketing doesn't work anymore. And when I hear that, I just laugh... because it's not true AT ALL. In fact, according to PostFuture, 82% of online buyers have made at least one purchase in response to an e-mail promotion.

It takes an average of four to seven contacts with someone before they will be comfortable enough to buy something from you, so you need to stay in touch with your visitors and build a relationship with them.

E-mail marketing is the ideal way to do this. You can show your subscribers you really know what you're talking about and make them feel comfortable enough to make a purchase.

Plus, you can stay in regular contact with your existing customers and keep them informed of new products you have to offer!

Step #7: Grow your business by selling new products to your existing customer base
It's a little-recognized fact that at least 36% of people who have purchased from you once will buy from you again IF you follow up with them. That means one-third of your customer base is just waiting for you to offer them something new!

You have already cultivated a relationship with your customers — you have put in the time and money to get their attention, establish credibility, and close that first sale. That's by far the most difficult part — not to mention the most expensive!

[Think of all the planning, advertising, and promotional activity that goes into getting those initial sales... ]

But once you've acquired those customers, you want to develop their "lifetime value." An old marketing adage says that 80% of your sales will come from 20% of your customers.

This means backend selling and upselling are your best bets. You can:

* Offer products that complement their original purchase

* Send out electronic loyalty coupons they can redeem on their next visit

* Include an offer for related products on your "Thank You" page

* Sell affiliate products that complement your product or service

By staying in regular touch with our customers and letting them know about new products we have available, we were able to increase our revenues by over 30%!

Step #8: Harness the power of affiliate programs for hands-free traffic... and sales!
Once you have a profitable business on your hands, you should always be on the lookout for new ways to grow it. And one of the best ways to do that is to launch your own affiliate program.

Affiliates are people who promote your products on their website for a cut of the selling price. Every time they send you a buyer, you pay them a commission.

With an affiliate program, you have the power to exponentially increase your income. Think of it... You don't have to go out and spend any money on advertising because your affiliates do the advertising for you... and you only pay them when they make a sale. You can't lose!

Final thoughts
This is a very brief overview of everything that's involved in growing a successful online business. It's impossible to go into very much detail here, of course, but I wanted to review the key steps of our proven system so you can confirm whether you're following the right path in your own business-building efforts.

I'd like to leave you with a question posed by a forum member about pay-per-click [PPC] advertising...

Hi Guys,

I have recently changed my Google PPC campaign and although my costs are a lot cheaper as I am bidding on far more niche words [rather than the more general words], the number of sales has dropped dramatically from an average of 12-15 per day to 3-5 per day.

I really don't want to go back to spending £200 per day with around £5 profit per sale.

Firstly, do you have any advice on increasing the number of sales from my PPC?

What is the next thing I should focus on to drive traffic to my site?

Should I focus on natural search engines, email campaigns, affiliate schemes?

Is there a particular order I should do things in?

And the answer from one of our marketing experts, Chris R.

It is smart to remove the non-performing PPC words in order to have a better ROI on your overall PPC campaign.

But in your message you say that you do not want to make £5 profit from a sale. My thought is £5 profit on the first sale is profit and allows you to build a customer base to sell other more profitable products to.

So I would take a look at the PPC words you removed that were generating sales and determine if you can sell those customers other products in a backend marketing system. Yes, it may be close to break even, but the backend is really where the big money is made.

As for other strategies, I like the affiliate program route. If you can find websites that are willing to introduce your product to their list of targeted customers this is a way to explode your sales. I would strongly consider this; make a list of potential affiliates and start calling them to determine if they are willing to introduce your product for commissions on sales.

If you are getting traction on this, you could then set up an affiliate program fairly quickly and have the ability to track their results. This will allow you to enter the affiliate game with only phone cost and then when you have your first affiliate, rush to set up your program. Alternatively, set up an affiliate program now, and then start the calls; it all depends on your budget.

As for increasing the number of sales from the PPC, I will go back to the backend marketing system. If you have a solid opt-in form that is generating signups I would really focus on an email system that sells these people your product.

You need to look at your traffic conversion rates in order to see if you can increase the conversion rate of your site. Create a more impactful headline, test different salescopy, offer bonuses or free shipping — test, test, and then do more testing keeping an eye on the conversion rate.

If you are after natural search listings, start writing articles and submit them to article directories and get links from good related websites. If you have varying markets coming to you, meaning that some of the keywords you bid on are different to each other, consider a different sales page that speaks better to the different markets.

As for the order:

1. Improve your website conversion rate.

Now, we get down to the nitty-gritty. I have good news and so-so news.

Here's the good news: Once you have created a clear Target for yourself, resolved the inner conflicts that surfaced when you looked at it and prioritized it [and, you can usually do these things simply by following the steps from the first four lessons of this mini-course], then, you will PROBABLY move directly to its accomplishment.

The so-so news is this: I said "probably" move directly to its accomplishment. Not "definitely," but "probably." Aha! You KNEW it all along -- there was a "catch" to this stuff. And so there is. But, what is it?

It's this: To do the really "fancy" stuff -- like make a million dollars, or find your true love -- you will, in fact, need to take advantage of a new, powerful and even more unusual process -- one that we don't have room to fully cover in this mini-course. More about that in a minute.

But wait! All is not lost. Because you can STILL use what you've learned so far to achieve moderately challenging goals that you never could before. You may not instantly generate a million bucks, but you can definitely increase your income. You may not find the love of your life right away, but you can certainly use what you've learned so far to immediately improve many relationships.

In fact, you can use this information to make progress in MANY areas of your life where you've previously been "stuck." That is, many things you haven't quite been able to achieve before, now you can, simply by using the basic Three-Step.

You have the tools. And yet, even when you use what you've learned so far, you still need to get ACCUSTOMED to using these tools. It's like using a muscle you haven't exercised in a while.

Here's why: Simply by learning and using the basic Three-Step, you've suddenly harnessed a great force that you probably never had any conscious, systematic control over before in your life...at all. In the past, you've used it sporadically. Now, you can use it -- up to the degree of setting [and ACHIEVING] a moderately challenging goal -- at will. Whenever you want.

But there's another catch: There's something else you have to do to make sure it works. See, using the basic Three-Step, compared to using any other goal-setting techniques, is not only like using an unused muscle. More than that, it's like getting behind the wheel of a brand-new car after you've been riding a bicycle all your life.

[Now, to accomplish the REALLY big goals, you need what's called The Super Achievement Three-Step Process for Cybernetic Transposition. That one, by comparison, is like PILOTING AN AIRPLANE! And, yes, that's what involves the more powerful and unusual process than we have room for here. It's all revealed and explained in the e-book, "How to Get Lots of Money for Anything -- Fast!"]

But, back to the basic Three-Step. Even though this is a relatively simple process when you first start to use it, you are going to need to keep active, conscious watch over your unconscious -- because a lot of what you're doing is, after all, new to you.

Again, it's like driving a car after only riding a bike before. As the driver of a car, you have to be aware of some new things -- e.g., accelerator, forward and reverse gears, a wider vehicle, a powerful engine, greater speed -- and you need to be actively and pointedly aware of these things until you become used to them as a matter of habit.

And so it is with the Basic Three-Step process and goal-setting. The point is, the Three-Step presented in this mini-course is a "new" process for you. Your unconscious mind is learning something that, while it seems simple to you [on a conscious level], is actually a bit complex [on an unconscious level].

Therefore, it's very important for you to give your unconscious mind feedback often, on a regular basis, to let it know how it's doing in moving you toward your Target. When you give it feedback, it will learn the very best way to do its part of the basic Three-Step for you, to get you the results you are looking for.

I call that feedback process Monitoring.

Why Is Monitoring Necessary?
It's because most people's conscious thoughts are usually contradictory -- including yours!

For example, you might think, "It's Saturday and I'm going to mow the lawn, clean out part of the garage and play some catch with my kids."

However, at the same time, you might be thinking, "I don't have to get up and go to work today. I'd like to stay in bed, just sleep in."

Those thoughts are contradictory: Get up and do some work around the house, versus stay in bed and sleep in.

You've been there, haven't you?

That's the sort of contradictory communications that most of us give our unconscious minds most of the time. As a result, your unconscious has a lot of trouble understanding what you consciously want. In fact, quite early in life, it begins to regard your conscious input as a lot of noise and turns begins to regard your conscious input as a lot of noise and turns down the volume. So it's not really listening to you. [That's why you've had trouble accomplishing even SIMPLE goals sometimes.]

And, obviously, the more difficulty your unconscious has in comprehending what you consciously want, the less likely you are to get it.

But that's all part of the past, now. Because you are embarking on learning a process that will sharply improve your conscious communication with your unconscious mind.

Imagine Your Phone Is Ringing
Start paying attention to what you see, hear, and feel in your life. Once you have made clear to your unconscious what you want by doing the Three-Step process covered in the preceding lessons, your unconscious will attempt to give you what it THINKS you want. [But it doesn't really know for sure!]

That's why, especially when you first start using the basic Three-Step, your conscious job is to clearly tell your unconscious how it is doing. That's what I mean by Monitoring.

Here are the five steps of Monitoring:

1. On a daily basis, read through your Target, imagining and experiencing what it describes.

2. On a separate piece of paper, write down the things that you have done that day to bring you closer to the accomplishment of your Target.

3. Record a "1" to "10" rating that indicates how close you are to achieving your Target. [A "1" means no progress at all and a "10" means full achievement.]

4. If signs of conflict arise, either while you are reviewing your Target, or while you are recording your progress in achieving it, note them and handle them as described in Lesson 3.

5. Check for the feedback signals that tell you you're on track to manifesting your target -- e.g., joy and happiness, enthusiasm and eagerness, and certainty of achievement. If any of those are missing, repeat the previous steps --especially step 4.

Just by following these five simple steps, you will be able to achieve a lot of new goals that have narrowly eluded you many times before in your life. Try it! You'll be pleasantly surprised with the results.

Doing Certain Things in a Certain Way

If you think back to times in your life when you truly succeeded, whether in the financial, relationship, intellectual, physical or spiritual arenas, you'll see that you were doing things in a certain way.

If you're like most people, you may not even have known what you were doing that worked so well! Often, we aren't consciously aware of when we are "in the zone." It just happens.

Even when we succeed, we're not sure why. We don't know how we did it, so we're not sure we can repeat it. We have no idea what the formula was -- so we have no idea if we'll ever succeed again. And sometimes we don't repeat it, or we lose the good that we've brought to ourselves, or we're successful in one area of life and not in another.

We can only become consistently successful when we understand what causes success and can repeat those patterns of thinking and acting at will. In other words, you must become consciously competent.

It's like having the combination to a lock... all the numbers and all the spins. If you do it right, the lock opens every single time! These "numbers and spins" of success in all areas will be the center of our conversation in this program.

In the meantime, think about the times you have been totally successful in any area: What was your thought process at the time? What were you focused on? What type of action were you taking? Were you risk-averse or risk-driven? Were you uncertain about yourself and your abilities, or were you certain? Remember, like causes produce like effects.

Distractions can get the best of you -- if you don't know how to make your Target more important than they are!

In this lesson, you are going to learn how to prioritize your Target, so your unconscious stays focused on achieving it. It will no longer become sidetracked by distractions.

You can imagine how powerful this alone will be in your life. [Just think of what it would be like to keep your mind's eye on something you desire, 100% of the time -- until the moment when you achieve what you desired, and it is now yours!]

In fact, once distractions are under control, dieting, saving, and earning money -- or anything else you want to have, do, or be -- almost becomes a snap to do! Why? Because your unconscious won't have a counter-desire working against you. This will become clear as we move ahead.

The Magic of Prioritizing
"Keep your eye on the ball!"
Why does a football coach yell that? It's pretty obvious that, if you want to accomplish something, you have to keep focused on it. That's what a football coach means when he says, "Keep your eye on the ball."

Your stated Target is the "ball" in your life. However, the conscious mind has great difficulty keeping its "eye on the ball," so to speak. Researchers have found that almost no one can remain consciously focused on any one thing for more than five seconds without experiencing some mental distraction.

Surprised? You can check that out for yourself. Try this:

1. Close your eyes and imagine a yellow triangle perfectly centered within a red circle.

2. Keep picturing that for as long as you can. At what moment do other ideas, thoughts, emotions, visual images, sounds, or feelings intrude?

If you're normal and completely honest, you probably didn't make it more than three seconds. Insidious, isn't it?


What should you do? The answer is actually pretty simple: Recognize that whatever intrudes into your conscious field of attention comes from your unconscious.

Therefore, the solution lies in getting your UNCONSCIOUS to put a high priority on your Target while your conscious mind continues to do what it normally does [which, as you now see, gets directed by your unconscious mind]. We'll do that using another simple technique that's a lot more powerful than you probably ever realized...

How to KEEP Your Target Prioritized!
So, how do you get your unconscious to stay in line, anyway? The most effective, simple and familiar way of prioritizing a Target is through repetition.

Repetition works by repeatedly sending the same message to your unconscious until the relevant parts of it get the point. That's what took place when you memorized your lines in a school play, a poem to recite in class, or the words to a popular song that you wanted to sing with your friends. Almost certainly, you repeated and repeated the words until you reeled them off easily and rather automatically, once the verbal or musical cue was given.

So, what you can do right now is begin to look at your written Target every day. Just get used to seeing it. The more you read it -- which is repeating it -- the more your unconscious will pay attention to it. That's easy enough, isn't it?

But that's not all you can do.

Here's how to prioritize your easier Targets:

1. Sit down with your Target statement. Put the piece of paper on which you have written your Basic Target in front of you. Choose a time when you won't be disturbed.

2. Imagine and experience what your Target describes, reading it silently. Create a movie in your head.

3. Write your Target statement 100 times. You are going to write your Target statement 100 times by hand instead of reading it -- just like you did in school. [It worked then. It still works now!]

That's easy enough, isn't it?

Of course, what I just showed you taps into only a small portion of the impressive potential strength and power of your mind -- when it's focused. What you just learned, as powerful as it is, is only really a baby step. Nevertheless, it is an effective one.
