Free E-Course Now Available: '5 Days to Success With Google AdWords'

"...You didn't ask for this endorsement, but I'm giving it anyway. Thank you for saving my butt. You're a genius." -- Joe Vitale, hypnotic marketer, best-selling author, and teacher/star of Rhonda Byrne's global hit film, "The Secret"
In case you haven't heard, Google has a system that makes it possible, for the first time in the history of the world, to deposit five bucks, write a couple of ads, and instantly get access to over 100 million people -- in fewer than 10 minutes.

It's called Google AdWords, and it's hot. In fact, it may be the first and best thing to do to get traffic to your site.

But it's not always as easy as I just made it sound. AdWords has some nuances, and most people have a rough time at first.

Well, my colleague, Perry Marshall [pictured], has written a very helpful e-course called, "5 Days to Success With Google AdWords," and there's no charge for it. You can find out about it here:

'The Secret Gratitude Book': #10 Wealth-Building Holiday Gift Idea for 2007

NOTE: This is one of 10 holiday gift ideas for enriching your own life, and/or that of others, in myriad ways. Goal: To redefine what it truly means to prosper -- now, in 2008, and well into the future.

It's no secret that we're big fans of Rhonda Byrne's best-selling self-help book, "The Secret." For this revolutionary endeavor, producer-author Byrne assembled dozens of masters in several fields -- e.g., metaphysics, psychology, spirituality, finances, entrepreneurship -- to address the power of the Law of Attraction. Since last year's release of the DVD and book, these "teachers" have inspired millions of people across the globe.

Now, there's a 2008 calendar and a journal, called "The Secret Gratitude Book." This elegant, limited-edition, hardcover book -- replete with a magnetic flap to afford its owner with a certain modicum of privacy -- delivers additional insights and affirmations regarding the Law of Attraction, plus the importance of expressing gratitude for life's daily blessings. Each day, you'll be able to record what you're currently grateful for and have the opportunity to align with your Gratitude Intentions.

James Arthur Ray Promotes "Thanks Living"
In the Thanksgiving 2007 issue of his weekly "High Velocity" newsletter, James Arthur Ray, CEO of James Ray International and one of "The Secret''s prestigous teachers, shared his thoughts about what he calls "Thanks Living" -- a practice that his father, a Protestant minister, taught to his family and parishioners:

"It's definitely no accident that a major portion of my teaching in 'The Secret' is centered on gratitude. Likewise, I devoted an entire chapter to this technology [and I use that term intentionally] in my book, 'The Science of Success.'

"While some who don't understand the power of energy, vibration and attraction may think that gratitude is not a big deal, I can promise you that...

"Gratitude is the mother of creative vibrations.
You see, when you're grateful for what you currently have in your life, it focuses you on the best. And that puts you in a vibration [feeling] to attract and receive more of the best. When you have a lack of gratitude in your life, you're focusing on the worst, and that puts you in a vibrational feeling that attracts to you more of the worst.

"Life is a self-fulfilling prophecy and YOU are the prophet.
Now, as you stop and think about this, it's very practical. Think about the person who's constantly ungrateful and full of complaints and problems. Do you want to be around them... much less help them? Probably not. Conversely, think of someone you know who's constantly grateful and appreciative in life. Same question: Do you want to be around them? Would you like to help this person if possible? Probably so.

"The Universe and all its inhabitants line up in support of the person who's in a vibration of gratitude.
Here's my recommendation as you move into the holidays this year: Make the theme of the holiday season 'giving thanks.' While eating turkey and watching football may be the norm around your household, sit down for a least a few minutes and have each family member [including you] list out loud at least three things that you're grateful for. You'll be amazed at how positively this affects the energy in your household. Who knows... you may find it addictive, and you'll find yourself one step closer to 'Thanks Living.'"

ProsperNOW's #10 Holiday Gift Suggestion
If you're seeking a last-minute stocking-stuffer for a friend or loved one, or simply want to treat yourself, pick up a copy of "The Secret Gratitude Book" at your local bookstore, or order it online from Amazon. The Sedona Method: #1 Wealth-Building Holiday Gift Idea for 2007

NOTE: This is one of 10 holiday gift ideas for enriching your own life, and/or that of others, in myriad ways. Goal: To redefine what it truly means to prosper -- now, in 2008, and well into the future.

How often have you wondered how amazing your life would be "if only..."? "If only I could lose weight..." "If only I had more money..." "If only I could be healthier..." "If only I had a better career or job..." "If only I didn't have to work as much..." "If only I had more focused time and energy to [fill in the blank], then I'd feel fulfilled..." "If only I could meet the right person, then I'd be happy..." "If only I could take control of my life..."

During the past 20 years or so, I've done my share of soul-searching, self-discovery, and individual and group therapy to help address various issues. Being an avid advocate for social, racial, ethnic and cultural diversity, as well as a lifelong student of ecology, I'm pleased to report that no one, single means of self-development has held the key to my personal growth and well-being. Instead, all of the diverse books, articles, courses, tapes, therapy sessions, meditations, visualizations, etc., have integratedly served me -- yes, some more than others -- and I believe that I've invested my time, money and energy well.

"The Secret" Reveals Lessons Regarding the Law of Attraction
In late 2006, "The Secret," a
DVD and book by Rhonda Byrne, took the entire self-help world by storm. Replete with insights from dozens of prominent experts [AKA teachers] -- from the realms of psychology, metaphysics, religion/spirituality, medicine, business, personal finance, etc. -- "The Secret" was loaded with ideas and suggestions for living one's very best life, and became an instant bestseller.

Just a few months later, Oprah Winfrey hosted Byrne and a handful of "The Secret"'s teachers not once, but twice, on her show. And, now, in December 2007 -- a full year later -- "The Secret" is still on the prestigious New York Times bestseller list.

In a nutshell, lessons in "The Secret" all relate to the ancient Law of Attraction; i.e., you attract what you focus on. For instance, if you constantly worry about being broke, you'll stay broke -- and, very likely, magnetize more bills. If you keep thinking about how tired, lonely, sick and/or depressed you are, then you'll continue to feel fatigued, isolated, dis-eased and mopey. If you don’t genuinely feel and express gratitude, you’ll likely block more good things from coming your way.

Simple, huh? Yes -- that is, unless you're undoing decades of negative personal and social conditioning, the fallout from tragic life experiences, and, perhaps, a few unhealthy habits [AKA addictions]. Then, you've got a little more work to do.

As a writer, publisher and PR/branding/marketing professional, I'm familiar with the work-in-progress concept. Beyond that, I consider my Unitarian Universalist/Humanist self to be a work-in-progress -- i.e., till the day I die, when this lifelong party's over.

Thus, when I felt the widespread, positive vibe surrounding "The Secret," I just had to read it. And study it, I did ... from cover to cover ... twice! FYI: I'm very protective of my time, so it's a big deal for me to devote such time and energy to any endeavor, much less twice.

The Sedona Method: It's All About the Power of Letting Go
Along the way, I "met" some terrific teachers, each of whom offered a certain, nuanced life lesson. Among the most compelling teachers: a gent named Hale Dwoskin [pictured above], president of Sedona Training Associates.

Dwoskin, himself a student of the late Lester Levenson, has fine-tuned Levenson's teachings on the applied science of "releasing." He's authored the best-selling book, "The Sedona Method: Your Key to Lasting Happiness, Success, Peace and Emotional Well-Being," and developed a multimedia course that's helped millions of people throughout the world untether themselves from yesterday's obstacles and move on to better things.

Sound mysterious? It's not. Just as practicing the Law of Attraction yields powerful results, applying the Sedona Method's releasing technique aids students in simply letting go ... of bad habits/addictions ... poverty-inducing thoughts of scarcity and lack ... emotional trauma ... stress ... lethargy ... fears ... unwanted weight ... feelings of unworthiness ... and unrewarding relationships, work and activities that no longer serve your best interests while creating the abundance, peace, love, joy and fulfillment you deserve.

On Fourth of July 2007 [Independence Day!], I started studying the Sedona Method. Since then, I've unloaded clients and projects that held no place in my new, long-term career and business goals. More over, I've gained an unprecedented, new sense of clarity, acceptance, calmness, confidence, self-control and sheer imperturbability regarding various issues and situations that I've inadvertently allowed -- yes, allowed -- to plague me for years, even decades.

Bonus: Without even trying to shed a few extra pounds, all of this emotional and psychological releasing has also yielded a lighter, fitter and more energetic me -- i.e., one who now frequently opts for fresher and more nutritious whole foods, rather than caffeine and processed sweets, carbs and fats.

"Knowing how to release is not a luxury," says Dwoskin. "It is a basic survival skill for the millennium." It's true. As stressors mount -- personally, locally, nationally and globally -- it's critical to be able to control one's emotions, and to focus on what's important and relevant.

The Sedona Method guides students to doing just that. Simply put, I cannot praise it highly enough -- neither as a stand-alone technique, nor as a complement to other means of achieving sound mental health; e.g., traditional and alternative therapies, 12-step recovery work.

Endorsements Abound for the Sedona Method Course
If you want a doable, cost-effective system for letting go of "stuff" from the past, and moving toward a healthier, brighter and more abundant future, order a copy of Dwoskin's best-selling book from
Amazon today. I wholeheartedly believe that it'll be one of the best gifts ever -- for yourself and/or a loved one.

If you'd like to check out Dwoskin's comprehensive multimedia course, go to the Sedona Training Associates
Web site. There, you'll find celebrity and author testimonials from the likes of Jack Canfield, Barbara De Angelis Ph.D., John Gray Ph.D., Mark Victor Hansen, Mariel Hemingway, Gay Hendricks Ph.D., Robert Kriegel Ph.D., Cheryl Richardson and Brian Tracy, plus compelling endorsements from several prestigious educational and medical institutions -- including Harvard Medical School.

You'll also be able to request the free DVD, CD and MP3 gifts that provide an overview/sneak preview of the course, and sign up for the free "Sedona Method Success and Well-Being Newsletter" and free "Insiders Guide to the Sedona Method."

Check it out today, and prosper this holiday season ... and well into your future!

March 25: "CBS Sunday Morning" to Feature "The Secret"

Since its release just last fall, and its stratospheric success in several formats -- i.e., film, DVD, hardcover, audiobook -- "The Secret" has made the media rounds. Rhonda Byrne, its ingenious creator/executive producer, and several of the teachers/cast members have appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Larry King Live," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and other top TV shows. This Sunday, "The Secret" will be the featured cover story on "CBS Sunday Morning."

As most ProsperNOW readers know, "The Secret" is based on the ages-old Law of Attraction -- i.e., what you radiate to the Universe comes back to you -- and holds that you can attract what you want, as long as you truly believe in your scientific and Universal power to attract it.

Some folks have simplistically likened "The Secret" to Norman Vincent Peale's "The Power of Positive Thinking." Thus, "CBS Sunday Morning" correspondent Erin Moriarity will visit Peale's hometown, Pawling, N.Y., to hear what townspeople have to say about "The Secret," and the value of believing that any goal you wish to attain can be yours -- if you believe strongly enough.

Truth be told, an infinitely better comparison can be made to Wallace D. Wattles' 1911 classic, "The Science of Getting Rich." In fact, many personal-development gurus have speculated that Wattles' book even inspired Napoleon Hill's success-library must-have book, "Think and Grow Rich."

Whatever. Tune in Sunday morning. It's always interesting to see how their reporters spin stories.

Today: Oprah Hosts Follow-Up Segment on "The Secret"

Today, just one week after featuring executive producer Rhonda Byrne and four teachers/cast members from the hit film, best-selling book, DVD and audiobook "The Secret," Oprah Winfrey is hosting two of those guests for a follow-up segment, "The Reaction to The Secret."

Evidently, when the initial segment about The Secret aired on Feb. 8, 2007, millions of viewers tuned in to The Oprah Winfrey Show to learn the mystery of The Secret and its purported power to making more money, losing weight, falling in love, having a fulfilling career, etc. Since then, the show's message boards have been abuzz with folks wanting to know more.

ProsperNOW readers and/or fans of "The Secret" know that The Secret is defined as the Law of Attraction, which states that like attracts like. Basically, the concept says that energy -- either positive or negative -- you put into the world is exactly what comes back to you. [Think karmic boomerang.] Thus, you create the circumstances of your life via the choices you make every day.

To help answer viewers' burning questions about The Secret, Oprah is hosting two of last week's guests -- James Arthur Ray, founder and CEO of James Ray International, and the Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center. Today's show will also showcase some astounding, life-changing examples of how people have applied The Secret -- during just the past week!

Apply "The Secret" to Attract Anything You Desire -- Including a New Car!

Yesterday's broadcast of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" was nothing less than phenomenal. It was so cool to watch Oprah interact with Rhonda Byrne, executive producer of "The Secret," as well as four of the hit film's 24 teachers/cast members -- i.e., Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, James Canfield, Lisa Nichols and James Arthur Ray.

The deeply spiritual Oprah totally embraced "The Secret"'s teachings. She candidly noted that, while watching the DVD and reading the book, she teared up and realized, "I've been living The Secret all my life."

Indeed, many "tuned-in" people have been living The Secret for centuries. For example, this reporter has lived vestiges of it, off and on, for decades -- especially after a certain beloved uncle imparted a critical golf-swing/life lesson: "Remember what you're doing right, and forget what you're doing wrong." Happily -- and most gratefully -- after having recently studied "The Secret," its life-changing lessons have been infused in her daily life [e.g., conversations, outlook, actions].

So, what is The Secret? Simply put, it's the Law of Attraction: What you put out to the Universe comes back to you. What you focus on is what you'll attract. Focus on negative stuff -- e.g., being broke, jobless, lonely, overweight -- and you'll continue to manifest those very states. Focus on positive stuff -- e.g., abundance, fulfilling and well-paid work, rewarding relationships, radiating good health -- and you'll create an entirely different, and totally prosperous, reality for yourself.

As Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith noted, The Secret is also very much about gratitude. While practicing the steps to attract what you desire -- i.e., 1] Ask, 2] Believe, 3] Receive -- it's critical to be grateful for everything. Everything? you ask. Yep -- even the, uh, "life lessons" that can be so very difficult to handle; e.g., bankruptcy, divorce, broken leg, death of a loved one. Simply express thanks to the sources of all things -- good and not-so-good -- learn from them, and then refocus your time and energy on manifesting what you do want in your life.

Attract Whatever You Desire

Like his fellow cast members, Dr. Vitale is also a staunch believer in The Secret notion that -- for better and/or worse -- our current circumstances reflect what we've attracted thus far, and that each of us has the power to consciously attract good stuff; e.g., luxury cars, loving relationships, great health and fitness. In fact, he's developed a program, Attract A New Car, to help virtually anyone attract their dream vehicle[s] and/or anything else they desire.

"The Secret" Is Out, and Skyrockets to Bestseller Status After Just One Week

By now, you've probably heard about "The Secret," the phenomenal Internet movie -- and in hardcover, audiobook and DVD formats, too -- that's changing millions of lives around the world by helping people get what they want in life. Since its Nov. 28 release, it's already a bestseller on Amazon -- i.e., #32 in DVD and #28 in Books, at the time of this posting.

In local bricks-and-mortar stores, though -- including the big-box likes of Barnes & Noble -- it's tough to find. "It's been way more successful than our buyers anticipated," a B&N associate told ProsperNOW.

What is "The Secret"? Simply put, it's a 91-minute film in which an all-star cast of 24 great leaders and thinkers present instances of eradicating disease, acquiring massive wealth, overcoming obstacles, and achieving what many would regard as impossible.

"The Secret" reveals amazing, real-life stories and testimonials of people who have changed their lives in profound ways. Scientists, inventors, psychologists, business people, doctors, theologians, economists and best-selling authors and philosophers -- e.g., "Chicken Soup" series creator Jack Canfield ["Maximum Confidence"], Bob Proctor, Rev. Michael Beckwith, John Gray ["Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus"], James Ray, Hale Dwoskin, Joe Vitale ["The Power of Outrageous Marketing," "Dr. Joe Vitale's Hypnotic Marketing Library," "AttractANewCar," "The Millionaire Mind"] -- explain The Secret and its application in various areas of life -- from health and wealth, to career and relationships.

The Law of Attraction
The Secret, says Proctor in the film, is the law of attraction. "Everything that's coming into your life you are attracting into your life," he declares. "And it's attracted to you by virtue of the images you're holding in your mind."

Proctor and the film's other teachers/participants explain that, when you think of positive things that you want and focus on them intently, then, like a magnet, you will attract those good things you desire -- in unlimited joy, health, money, happiness, youth, love and relationships. On the flip side, if your thoughts are pessimistic and negative, you will attract bad things in your life.

Make no mistake: The Secret goes well beyond merely having a positive attitiude. According to the film, some of the keys to using The Secret are:
* Expectation: Expect the things you want, and don't expect the things you don't want.
* Gratitude: Be grateful for what you already have, and you will attract more good things.
* Visualization: Create pictures in your mind, imagining yourself enjoying the things that you desire as if you already have them. Then you'll attract them.

The film's creator, Rhonda Byrne, says she discovered the law of attraction in a 100-year-old book called "The Science of Getting Rich," upon which
one of Proctor's most popular programs is based. Upon investigation, though, she found that The Secret had been known for centuries by many of the great thinkers; e.g., Plato, Galileo, Shakespeare, Beethoven, Edison, Einstein, Newton, Carnegie.

"Most people aren't aware of it at all," said Vitale, a world-renowned metaphysician, marketing specialist [AKA "Mr. Fire"] and best-selling author of
"Life's Missing Instruction Manual," "The Attractor Factor," "Spiritual Marketing," "There's a Customer Born Every Minute" and dozens of other books and training programs. [His next book, "Hypnotic Writing," is due for release on Dec. 22.]

"Now, this powerful information is being broadcast to the masses, to the people in the street, in a way they can understand and relate to," Vitale told ABC News. "They sit. They watch it. They absorb it."

Viral-Marketing Success Story
Vitale holds that, after just one week -- with nary a single TV or magazine ad, nor theater distribution -- "The Secret" has already made history via its incredible viral-marketing success -- mostly, via its
Web site. "I think the marketing campaign behind 'The Secret' is going to go down in history as the greatest case study of viral marketing ever done -- anywhere," he told ABC.

Vitale said that "The Secret" first posted a short trailer on its Web site. "It was hypnotic," he declared."It was one of the most riveting teasers I had ever seen in my life. It made you drool. It made you want to know more. It made you curious. It was truly mesmerizing."

The site invited viewers who wanted to know the film's release date to submit their e-mail addresses. The producers then asked the film's participants, including Vitale, to invite their fans to the site.

"Within one day, within hours, there were tens of thousands of people going to see that trailer," said Vitale. "More importantly, they were all signing up to be notified when the movie was going to be released, which meant the producers of 'The Secret' suddenly had a fan base. They had a giant mailing list...In short, the whole world started to take notice."

"The Secret 2: The Next Step" is scheduled to go into production in January for release in August 2007. Stay tuned...
